Well, if you want to drop WAY too much money for it, you can buy it now with volume 2 and all 3 OVAs.
eBay

Or you could make an offer.

I'm glad that I didn't see that because I probably would make an offer but it would be like less than they would like so I suppose I'll wait for volume 2 and the OAVs/movie

got a counter offer of $315 I put $250 so anyone know what to do? I wanted it for $250 or less but since it seems he won't go low. How do I end this since I'm not going to get it?

Its almost so I jump in and offer him 315 =), if the auction for part 1 went for 150 usd, then 315 for the whole package seems rather fair.

Well, you could always sell off your first volume he sells you (I think he said it came without the linear notes, ads, etc. right?). I got volume 1 and 2 together for a hundred maybe a year ago, so it might be worth waiting, though then again you never know when it's gonna come up again. I remember paying just under thirty for The Ultimate Teacher, but the only copy I've seen in a while is going for two-hundred now. So I guess it depends on how long you're willing to wait.

Wow, these prices for the Animeigo KOR tv sets seem a bit on the high side (compared with past auctions). I feel fortunate to have snagged the beautiful Akemi Takada illustrated Japanese box set for a mere $50 on eBay a while back (with all but one of the discs still sealed even): it is raw, but that is what having downloaded subtitled episodes is for :).

I hate having anime as an addiction sometimes. I wish money was given freely  I would buy so much anime!

Ebay is blocked for me here at work, but is this for the US/AnimEigo released LD box? If so, wow $315 is high for just Vol. 1, considering I paid $500 for both sets new back in 1998.

I suggest politely telling the seller that the price is too high for you. If the seller is willing to go lower, you'll get a response with a lower price. I purchased Vol 1 and 2 together for $200, and that was definitely on the high end. The OVAs show up on eBay regularly, and you can get em for less than $20 a disc. Give how much I've paid, I'd say $250-$275 for everything seems fair.

Plus, you can sell your volume 1.
