its pretty cool, did shirow draw it or is it some pre-photoshop composite?

i see you have some minidiscs? holding it down. have you found those to be dropping in price or increasing? dont think i ever saw a player under $50 (unless it was broken) and no discs under $5.

A few years ago I grabbed a (crappy) net MD player with no line, in (recorded from usb only) and 35 discs for around $40 shipped off ebay. The nicer players can be a bit more expensive but they don't seem to have gone up too much. Not many people seem interested in them.

I've not noticed but at least people want them. I only have left and then I'll be out of MDs forever save for 3 Cyndi Lauper MDs I am keeping.

Its like with LD. The better players still go for hundreds, the low end stuff is worthless. Honestly, the really feature-poor models, like the cheap plastic USB-only NetMD players that Sony USA were basically marketing as MP3 players...I never considered them worth anything to begin with.

I am glad to write that I have the Japanese Box set and regular edition.

I am waiting to read about when Production I.G will be releasing 3rd Gig series as they did say that there would be more series coming along at some point.

I think with the Appleseed franchise and other projects, that they have been busy for the last few years.

I thought that they had a team working on the 3rd series behind the scenes.

I hope that this will surfice at some point, knowing that this takes years and years........

Nice poster....

The better Hi-MD player/recorders like the MZ-RH1 and the MZ-RH10 haven't gone down in price at all. I haven't been able to find them any cheaper than $450.

Even some of the better standard MD player/recorders still go for a high price like the MZ-R707, MZ-R900 and MZ-909. Those have most of the best features like digital line-in, mic in, MDLP, etc. I still see the 900 and 909 go for over $150.
