rein-o wrote: That's a great set, only thing i didn't like was the extras after each side. Its hard enough to watch a CAV film with disc changed let alone stopping so you don't get the side change. I need to watch this one again, i gave a review when i had my R7G, i should do another review with the 3070 so we can all see the difference or lack of difference in PQ. I actually didn't realised that every side had extra's I just flipped the disc when the still screen came up. Also I have a singe sided LD player so I was quite the experience to change the disc 3 times. But the picture quality was simply brilliant. The main reason I bought this one is because it has English soundtrack.

From Kevin Kobos: Dogs Fantasy 1+2 (cute puppies set to classical music, housemate enjoyed it on her birthday ) and a mid-80's demo disk that has quite a bit of rot. And my next one will be the video service guide for the S104-family (ironically, the simplest player ever, but I can't find references to other ones online anywhere...)

Quote: Nice little gem you got there. I have a copy of it as well on both Laserdisc and VHS, isn't available on any other optical format at the present. Sci-fi movie directed by George R.R. Martin, known for Games of Thrones.

I think this indicates that the disc was broken before it was even sold. The shady seller ripped me off by $73. I was really looking forward to having it so my friends and I could have a LaserDisc movie night soon. It's so disappointing. you can fook dat shady seller makin a paypal dispute

samaron wrote: It is a really nice set. Probably one of the more elaborate ones on the format. Best part is that they're not uncommon nor expensive (unless you look on eBay). Yeah it was cheap on yahoo auctions, and for all the stuff inside it's a bargain.

Got these all in recently! Very excited about these ones! The Keep was on my wishlist for way too long, had to be widescreen. The Holy Mountain is another Laserdisc first, if my information is correct this unreal film was only available to the home audience for some time on Laserdisc from Japan. Out of the two pressings made mine is the later remaster with digital audio. And warning; Blade Runner: Director's Cut (1992) [NJL-12682] does have subtitles that pervade into the picture on occasion! Was unaware of this, although I'm not too concerned as I also have the american pressed counterpart.
