Well I am interested in late releases and that's why I collect them and I won't let the village idi*t ( as this guy is being called on Laserdisc forever ) spoil the fun.

Some pickups today. It's been slim lately finding anything I want. $3 for Swing Time, $1 each for the other two.

I haven't seen much in the wild lately, but I did get a copy of Sneakers for $1 at the thrift Saturday.

This is the first laserdisc I bought in some time and I really love its cover. I find the movie's topic really intriguing plus the cover is very nice.

Got it for 4 € from an ebay seller based in France.

when you watch these movies please see if there are extra scenes inserted which are missing in international cuts.

also look for fogged details

Another disc and film I have wanted for some time now. Got it for a steal, and the thing looks untouched and mint! Roan did an excellent release of this film for Laserdisc.

arrived today.

This is the first time in my life that I have seen this fantastic Movie.
I love this movie, the actors and the music are so great!
It was very important to me to own The Rocketeer on Laserdisc,
because this medium is very close to my heart and is still very magical for me.

Great cover on The Rocketeer, I remember seeing that when it came out. I guess the reboot is still in the works?

Ice Station is uber classic, on any format. Loved that movie on TV as a kid. Even then it was old but so cool..

Great Rocketeer LD and I'm glad you like it but when it came out it was really disappointing, one of the most overhyped movies of the '90s, most people at the time agreed. Next to stuff like Barron Munchausen. Terrible. (this is just my OPINION, it doesn't mean it's true or you have to agree with it)

I got the Sound of Music yesterday. It is the Widescreen THX version with AC-3 sound. I already have the "Special Widescreen edition" that is extended play and wanted the AC-3 version to complete the collection. It sounds silly saying that as the AC-3 version will more than likely be the one played the most.
