If you want a top class player you can also import player by ebay : https://www.ebay.fr/itm/Pioneer-CLD-959 ... Sww9xZKkAkfor exemple. A very good NTSC player. Be careful, you will need a Voltage transformer 100V > 220 for this one.

thanks for that rein-o Signofzeta...I have this Cld-j990g (maybe from 1996, im sure is a clone of the Cld-v2800); it works perfect except some failed attemps with the double side mechanism I have only watched in person another model owned by a friend an euro expensive DVL-919 and i have to say it showed imho a subtle greenish cast to the imege, i prefer my 40 euro Cld-j990g anyday UPDATE: right now i have bought finally a CLD-R6 through a proxy shop ; 114 euro without shipping and import taxes hope not reach the 200 euros maybe yes

Also it appears to have TOSlink, you don't see those in karaoke models. Really I've only had one or two Karaoke models, I can't remember if they did or didn't have that as I sold them back in the day. But I didn't know that they aren't on Karaoke models.
