Which TV monitor(display) do you use?

There are 4 items

1. manufacturer
2. Part number
3. Resolution (for example 1920 x 1020)
4. Is it a beautiful picture?

For Laserdiscs/CDV i have those hooked up to my

Philips
28PW9551
normal CRT but can take up to 1080i signals 50 or 60 Hz via Component or HDMI input
Yes, i still find it very nice for watching movies. The TV is the best of both worlds digital and analogue sources for me.
Only fine text is sometimes not good readable.

For digital sources i sometimes use my PC monitor as it can display passive 3D

Philips
278G4
1080P 60Hz 3D
Fine, but irregular lit backlight and pungy blue output because of IPS panel that has 'white' leds placed at the edges as backlight.
For movies i still prefer CRT as it looks more natural and gives more depth somehow.

I use an LED but I went to test them out before I bought new and if I didn't like it with LD when I got home I would have returned it.

I use Pioneer Plasma KRP-500A (European Model).
I watch LaserDisc @ 1920x1080.
To get good picture you need to spend some time calibrating.
I used "Video Essentials" LD for this.

Video essentials is a must.

I had a copy, sold it then needed it again and had to buy one.
Always nice to adjust to specs.

Yes, for an old DLP. I have my LDP hooked up via an Iscan HD+ from DVDO. Looks very good to me.

Used to have a 36 inch Trinitron WEGA, but that died last year after loyally serving me since '02.

Panasonic TH-50PX77U 50" Plasma

1080p capable display, but the actual resolution is 1366x768

Beautiful picture? Absolutely. Looks great for LDs and blu-ray

Here's a pic of the THX LD of The Jungle Book and the Synapse blu-ray restoration of Suspiria on it...

Oh yeah, and that's straight composite from my Runco LJR II into the Plasma. No external scaling or processing.

Well, you can get the Denon LA-3500G in Japan. That would be the closest you get could get to the Runco LJR II.

They're both based on the Panasonic LX-900 and both have a stock AC-3 RF output.

The picture is as good as it gets.

This looks kind of rough to me. I will need to compare this scene to the blu-ray I have.

As for the original topic, for LD I still use a Sony HD CRT for LD. I generally use different displays for different things. There isn't a miracle display that is good at everything.

While I don't own this copy, I have a box set which I believe has this.
It seems to be chroma noise or something like that from the earlier pressings.
