What is the policy of sharing Xbox, PLaysation and Wii gaming identities. Is it legal to do on lddb as far as lddb’s terms are concerned? How about as far as the Xbox, PLaystation and Nintendo services are concerned. Nintendo has strict "stranger danger" policies.
I know xbox gamertag publications on outside web sources are legal, because my offline friend got his gamertag published, and he was proud to pick up fans following the show. As matter of fact, one of the comments that Jamal supposedly said about one of the opponents in Life to the Power of X was actually in reference to a response to a fan who waned to challenge (since it’s already public knowledge for fans of the show) Jamal "Zophar321" Nickens at the fans choice of game. The fan won. Then Jamal asked other games they owned in common because the fan beat him at the fan selected game, but Jamal played 3 or 4 other games the fan had and Jamal beat him bad each time, and the fan gave up when Jamal made his point. A game you practice for 8 hours a day for 5 days a week you might beat my friend who is first stumbling on it, but put in quite a few games either he knows or neither of you know and he’ll come out on top more than half the time.
The producers of the show kind of twisted that comment to make it sound like he was referring an opponent, not a random fan.
So LDDB Mods: What’s the policy of sharing gamertags? Publicly publish if you want? Private message only? Or no non-web contact? I know the lddb website primarily a specific home format of movie site, so gaming is a tangential topic.
And to think, I was just curious whether Laser Disc owners think CRT TVs are a) absolutely better than modern TVs and worth going out of your way for, b) better if they have one for classic video games anyway, but wouldn’t buy one specifically for just laser discs, or c) not worth it, even if you have a CRT TV for classic games.
Just curious, are most people a) b) or c) type people? I’m a B kind of person.

You could use it in the kitchen or work room if you have. Our last place I had a 13" in the kitchen, one in each work room and was planning on putting one in the bathroom but the bathroom was too small. I was able to get them for a few bucks like you or free. Was even planning on running an extension cord into the back yard when doing grilling, so if you have a yard you may want to think of that too

I have no experience with them and games as I don't have any game systems anymore and the only old tech we have around the house are vinyl, CDs, LDs and DVDs and all runs fine for us on newer equipment. The only stuff I really like but they too fit into these above categories are large rear projection TVs, always wanted one but we don't own a truck or van and its not worth it to get a rental for a cheap junky old tech TV. The only one that I would like that are cool would be that really early Pioneer projection TV, would be cool but would take too much to keep it running as its over 35 years old now and its just too old to deal with.
