The Great Rock and Roll Swindle There's a great review at IMDb dot com about the above. Explains how it was not a swindle, but business as usual... https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0080813/?r ... 520Swindle

After Anime, Live Concerts are ranking 2nd in my collection. Some personal favorites: Julien

At first, digital sound discs were limited to 55 minutes per side if I remember right. The Cotton Club disc was released in 1985. That Genesis tour was in 1983-84, but the Laser Discs were later (there are two versions; one says from 1991 in the database).

admin wrote: spooky wrote: Quick googling finds it: 1989-08-02 Julien Oh thanks, yeah its a Digital Audio version (still mono?) of the orginal '84 release which is interesting. So, what's on this Globe LD you have? Is it live stuff? What domes are involved? How's the AQ? Thanks.

Globe: @4_domes [AVLG-72005] is a live concert in Tokyo Dome (indoor). Globe: Tour 1998 Love Again [AVLG-72007] is a live concert in Yokohama (outdoor). Both good fun to watch. Julien yeah need these. Globe "globe" and Faces Places was on high rotation on my MD walkman circa '98. We had a Japan Club at uni and I dubbed JCDs from Japanese students and my housemate. I would also go up to the Conbinis in Sydney at the time and rent discs to dub. I even had the official Sony TOSLINK cable to run from my discman for "perfect" copies. It's how I got into the whole Komuro family..
