Zardoz (1974) [1208-80]

so seems like nobody else is going to start so i guess i'll try.
just watched this about 2 weeks ago.

picture is slightly grainy, don't know if this is the print or supposed to be like this.

audio on side 1 is very low and about 3 minutes on side two, then you hear it get louder like someone turned up the volume to the correct level.

over all it's a great film, wish they did a better transfer of this crazy classic.

I remember watching this somewhere else (Can't recall whether it was DVD or perhaps Netflix) but the pictured looked really washed out. It's most likely a terrible original print.

unfortunatly i've only seen the LD and when it would be on cable in the past.
can't remember about cable but the LD is i guess sort of washed out, that might be what i was trying to say about grainy, not a good grain.

TCM showed this within the last the few years and it seemed as though it was the film itself.

watched this again with a group of friends.

what i noticed this time is the black bars on the top and bottom moved closer together.
so the begining of the film looks like 2:20 or around there and towards the end of the film it's more like 2:35
not that bad but it moves on both the top and bottom.

i wouldn't have noticed it, but i had it on my projector screen and saw the top and bottom at one point and realized
that it became smaller.
