I'm very proud to announce the release of OP Workshop/Reely Interesting's first official remaster, "The Loves of Emma Bardac."
This 1990 award-winning musical docudrama telefilm tells the story of the titular woman who, as we learn through their original correspondence, had love affairs with French composers Fauré and Debussy, bore a daughter to each of them, and eventually became Debussy’s second wife. The famous piano duo, Katia & Marielle Labèque, make their debut acting performances in this film and perform works from the suites' composed by Fauré and Debussy for their daughters with Emma. On a technical end, it is said that this is the first independent film created using digital HD hardware.
This remaster was captured, edited, color-corrected, and upscaled from the original 35-year-old 1" HD digital master tapes with the oversight of the original Grammy-award-winning producer Thomas Mowrey. Also provided are brand-new approved subtitles in English, French, German, & Japanese. Best of all, it is available completely free on YouTube thanks to the generosity of Mr. Mowrey.
Please enjoy this very special film! If you like the production, please leave a comment on the video for Tom and share with your friends & family for them to enjoy too.
