Just watched Blue Thunder on laserdisc the other day. Hadn't seen it since I was a kid in the '80s. The movie has actually aged quite well. Really enjoyed it.

Major League on laserdisc. Got the LD for $1 in a hi fi store a few years ago and never watched it. Was never interested in sports movies but I figured I better watch it. Good stuff. A pretty tight entertaining comedy.

Wild Geesse I , this disc did it show any signs of rot being a PDO-UK?

Wild Geese II is a far more better movie than the first one.
Scott Glenn was cool jogging around the prison finding ideas for an escape plan for Rudolpho Hess

I love plots with nazi/cold war suspense theme in thriller movies, they don't make them like this anymore.

Ken Wahl's The Soldier 1982 is another gem!

Its a "DVD" not a Laserdisc thou wouldn't mind the ntsc Laserdisc. The cardboard sleeve looks okay not bad all needs is one of those smaller plastic sleeves to slip it into.

UK PAL Laserdisc pressing
Wild Geese, The (1978) [735 0013 0]

German PAL Laserdisc pressing
Wild Geese, The (1978) [4265-11]

USA NTSC Laserdisc pressing I like the artwork on this cover it shows some of action scenes.

Just got this documentary:

8-bit Generation: The Commodore Wars

Won't be much interest to anyone who doesn't know much about the computer market of the late 70s/early 80s, but well worth a watch for those who do.

Though it does move at a breakneck pace and has some editing issues.

RIP Admiral...your off screen death was weak as hell and inappropriate. I apologise on behalf of Mickey Mouse.

Watched Heart of Killer (1995) last night. Had got the LD with a lot of Hong Kong stuff when a video store in a Melbourne Vietnam town closed down. It never had a sleeve with it and it wouldn't play on my worthless Pioneer LD-S9 or any of my worthless Pioneers (all of 4 them) so I forgot about it.

Anyway I was looking for something to watch last night so put Heart of Killer into my trusty Sony MDP-650 (that has some how fixed itself!) and it spun up and played through no worries! Really great flick, amazing visuals, great action and story. Really high standard Hong Kong stuff and looks perfect on my CRT through LD. Just perfect.

Anyway I noticed this title is not in the database and I don't have a cover to upload, only the sticker. Would anyone have the cover available to photograph so we can add this one?

Just upload the info you have and wait for someone else to get a cover.
Half of the info is better than none.

I watched Philadelphia (1993) [52616] last night. Even though this was a DACD USA manufactured it had zero rot ( I think DADC USA got really bad a year later or so ).
Anyway, wonderful film as always. I remember seeing this in Poland in 1994 for the first time.
Picture quality was good but not outstanding however I did like the bonus music video "Streets of Philadelphia" by Bruce Springsteen at the end of side 3. The video quality of this music clip is outstanding.
Sound quality was excellent thoughout the entire film, puts every DVD to shame. Sometimes I do not know whether I prefer PCM 2.0 over AC3 5.1. Yes you do not have full surround sound but it simply sounds very clear
with great dynamics. I am sure that even the Blu Ray does not sound any better. I really hate those 5.1 or even 7.1 upmixes. I want the original sound mix and I am sure Laserdisc is the best medium out there in that regard.

Unfortunately, after the death of Adams, Japanese married wife and son are completely unknown, there are no records left. It may have been expelled to Batavia at the beginning of isolation.
Silence (2016) is also about the same period.
