Hi everyone.
Cool site!

I've been looking to 'thin the herd' on some of my various collections. Just getting started over at Discogs for my records and now I'm finally going to get started on the LD's. LDDB is definitely the place for them. I've got several hundred titles and like to know they will be going to other collectors who will love and appreciate them. Not going back to eBay anymore if I can help it. Been a member there since the 1990's.

Just applied for seller ability here at LDDB. Will troll around and learn what I can until approved.
Would greatly appreciate any advice from the seasoned vets on grading / pricing, etc.

Thanks

If you search each title many times there will be a price associated with it, what other LDDB sellers are selling it for. If it is not in the database then it's off to the ba where prices are all over the place but you can get some sort of idea of a price. I wish you luck and look forward to checking out your collections, both here and at Discogs.

Thanks man, I'd almost thought about listing the music related LD titles over at Cogz but, they just don't seem to have much action for them there. Or any video stuff actually.

My most daunting prospect at this time is getting my titles ID's and listed.
Discogs has a barcode scanner app that looks up titles for you, saves loads of time provided the releases have their barcode listed in the db. Is there anything like that for LDDB?

For price indication, look what the other sellers here charge, then take 50% off that price, then you got the market value.

For scanning, you can use this page: http://www.lddb.com/bulk.php there you can choose upc, and start scanning. But not all got the barcodes added, but if its american "common" titles they should all be there.

Nothing that jumps out at me that I don't have right now, but nice description writeups
