I think CU-LD011 is just the Chinese version of LD-W1
I think English LD-W1 is CU-LD015

Chinese? Kinda looks japanese.
Were there ever "foreign" language version of remotes, I mean other than japanese and "universal" english?

He's getting Chinese and Japanese mixed up, that's clearly Japanese on that remote.

For what it's worth;

CU-CLD095 appears to be the remote that came with CLD-950. It's nearly identical to the CU-CLD067 (which I actually bought before I noticed the difference) but the latter lacks the 16:9 button.

Nothing to add, but need help.....

Bought a decent champagne DVL-909 (military version?).
Anyway, came without remote, none of mine will do anything with it.
I see in the list some of them came with CU-DV027, and it seems there may be different versions of that? (Nice gold ones, and maybe simpler black ones?)
Also, 012-027s are listed as working.
Most of those seem to be DVD remotes.
Will they also control LD functions, if the disc playing is LD?
Or will they only control the DVD functions of the 909, while playing DVD?
Normally I don't mind buying OE remotes, but here if as comes with the H9, it seems to have driven the market up.

THX for the help!

I recently got this remote , which works just alright with my Pioneer CLD 2950. All commands seem to function fine, apart from the OPEN/CLOSE button. However, the STOP button opens the tray, but would not close it.

That remote works for everything but that I believe.
I have one similar and it works on all my players but a few buttons don't.

Don't forget on LDs Play is Close. So try pressing the Play button to see if it closes.
But again I don't think that button worked for mine either with closing?

CLD-D702 CU-CLD068 http://www.laserdiscarchive.co.uk/laser ... tions1.jpg

Based on manuals uploaded here:
CLD-3080 CU-CLD024
CLD-97 CU-CLD090
CLD-D504 CU-CLD112
LD-S1 CU-LD008
LD-S2 CU-LD019

For my CLD-1070 I have CU-CLD017 which *should* be the original remote.

Hi there! Long time member, first time caller! :) I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong area. Just added a 6th (!) LD player to my collection. No remote, of course. Really having a hard time nailing down witch remote I need! read many sites. Some give #'s, but those #'s don't correlate to "remotes" on other sites! Ebay HAD "a" proscan LD remote with a shuttle looking dial on it. That sold right away. DAMN! Any direction would be greatly desired and appreciated!

Welcome!

If you give us the player list, we might help :)

Thank you for allowing me to be a member, Julien! I'm grateful to be part of THE LD community! (I've been a member for 3 years, but I've not been active.) The unit posted in the subject line is the one I need the remote for! If you'd like a list of my other 5 units (that I have remotes for already) I would gladly share that....if anyone cares
