Post subject: Lines on scene changes - NTSC LD upscaling Posted: 22 Oct 2017, 15:42 |

Hi I'm using a Pioneer CLD -D925 to upscale some LDs. I have it going through my Panasonic DMR-EX99V and then to ELegato HD60 capture card at 1080p. PAL is fine but on some NTSC discs I have a problem with lines on some scene changes. See pic. Any idea how to get rid of these?? Thanks!!! https://imgur.com/a/qAdHR

Thanks for the replies. I have to pass it through the Elgato to capture it. It's weird as some NTSC discs are fine and others have this annoying flicker......

Funny how in the analog era PAL speedup was probably more annoying in practice, but in the digital age it's easier to correct. Is there any way to fix this??

Unfortunately the ELgato can only capture at 30 or 60fps

OK. Thanks. Yes, it only happens when going through the Elgato. I also have a Hauppauge box and the same happens with it. I may have to buy a better internal capture card.
Thanks for the help
