nice Model not being sold in Japan THX acquisition Well, you can get the Denon LA-3500G in Japan. That would be the closest you get could get to the Runco LJR II. They're both based on the Panasonic LX-900 and both have a stock AC-3 RF output.

While I don't own this copy, I have a box set which I believe has this. It seems to be chroma noise or something like that from the earlier pressings.
