Good day forum Friends Firehorse_44, Clackmedone, Signofzeta, Forper, Rein-o & Potter85412, What are you reading. To be honest when I read the above subject I thought you know what, I really need to return & read my Bible and Lord Of The Rings large hardback and, then read J.R. Tolkien's unfinished at the time at his passing Literary work, completed by his Son read below; In April 2007, Christopher Tolkien published The Children of Húrin, whose story his father had brought to a relatively complete stage between 1951 and 1957 before abandoning it. I placed a deposit at the time for the first Edition at release & purchased when it arrived £60..... It's a lovely hardback book in a slipcase......I need to read all of the above, so thank you all for inspiring this Man. Take Good care of yourselves everyone, and thank you for being members here, it's always refreshing when visiting this site / forum and is a unique experience. Kindest Regards

Never a big fan of 2000AD but I liked the Stallone and the later Dredd 3D films. Saw both at the cinema on their releases too. The thing with the comic that struck me is the huge difference in style between the early comics and the evolution over the years. It didn't do much for me so after finishing book 1 and a flick through some later volumes I was done. Totally appreciate its impact though, just not something I instantly took to. Currently reading some blockchain tomes. In terms of non-fiction stuff, nothing at the minute but Andrew Cartmel has a brand new title in his Vinyl Detective series due any day now. I've read all of these to date and highly recommended them. Brilliant stories. I get those digitally though, usually Kobo or anywhere else (legally) than Jeff, then throw them in to Calibre and remove any DRM before tossing them on my Kobo. This is a good interview for Vinyl Detective fans by the way: https://www.resistormag.com/features/th ... ollecting/Only other fiction I've got teed up to read soon is the new To The Stars series from Sylvain Nuvel. His Themis Files books are bloody amazing. If you like Black Mirror, The Test is very good too. If you choose to read A History Of What Comes Next then you'll need the playlist, which is here: http://neuvel.net/2021/03/24/the-playlist/Useless trivia: I compiled the Tidal playlist and sent it to the author as when the book was launched the publishing House only promoted Spotify and Apple Music.
