tweeg wrote: gypsy wrote: Direct link to new Sentai sale: https://www.sentaifilmworks.com/collect ... b3cb0e1382I had like $360 in my cart initially. Pared down to $138 by the time I ordered. Would have bought it all but I just bought a large game lot. Couldn't resist Dunbine and When They Cry sets at $20 each this time. Can relate, ended up spending $123.79 on the Sentai black Friday sale. So many great deals, so little money to splurge. Then ended up spending another $62 on the RightStuf Cyber Monday sale. Thankfully (or not?) I spent a ton on the Sentai sales the previous year. It was kinda nice looking things over and saying "have it" to most things I would have wanted.

oh well, surely NADIA and PATLABOR T.V. won't be letting me down, Right? RIGHT?!? The only two target markets for Shining Hearts were: A. Fans of Sega's "Shining" Strategy RPG game series. B. Fans of Tony Taka's character designs.... don't look up Tony Taka unless you're at home, in private, because he's well renowned for his hentai... art (extremely NSFW). Nadia and Patlabor are both classics, would take someone having extremely picky tastes to be disappointed with either of them.

Been There, Done That. indeed, i've seen it all a zillion times before, in far better series, but, well, that's just me... all the same, Merry Christmas;

tweeg wrote: As for Patlabor: Ultimate Box Set getting cleared out for so incredibly cheap, word is that Maiden Japan's license of the series & movies expires in January. The DVD and Blu-Ray releases are on blowout presently through RightStuf as I type this, with very little remaining. But if you do a search for Patlabor, you'll find that RightStuf still has the Pioneer Geneon DVD releases of Patlabor Movie 3: WXIII still in inventory from 11 years back! Will also point out that Maiden Japan label releases tend to mostly get low quantity production runs, with very rare exceptions on well known titles, like Patlabor and Vampire Princess Miyu. If you're curious about what all has been released thus far under the Maiden Japan label, there are printable PDF collector checklists of all their releases to date on both DVD and Blu-Ray formats available here: http://www.tweeg.psoarchive.com/collect/Super late reply, sorry. Yep I noticed the Patlabor Ultimate box set was dirt cheap on Amazon USA a few months back. Didn't wait and bought it straight away as it's normally super expensive. No brainer really. Patlabor 1 and 2 are two of the finest anime films ever made, especially Patlabor 2.

gypsy wrote: Darn it! It is virtually unending. I just received my big Labor Day Weekend Sale order from them today! Hopefully I'll have some money to spend with them next go around, this is just to close to the hundred dollar order two weeks ago for me to afford doing again at moment. And guys, going to point out ( Yes, I'm schilling my own website and personal projects again.) the SentaiFilmworks DVD Checklist, and the Maiden Japan DVD and Blu-Ray Checklists are available on my website as printable PDF files for anyone else who's either collecting or just interested in seeing what neo-ADV has published so far. No Blu-Ray checklist on the Sentai Filmworks side as they're very actively releasing new titles still on that format, but I am keeping up with those for a future checklist project. Just not keen on making a BD Cheklist for them right now as it would require a time commitment for having to update it monthly.

And while that's a awesome price... all those DVD set releases at blowout pricing of $2.99 each are far more tempting for me at moment, I can't pass up on anime priced below the used market prices.

I mostly had that stuff but I did grab a few of the super cheap DVD sets to make sure I was over free shipping. I started with my cart over $200 but got it down to $53.
