I've searched every American store on the data base and can find zero copies of it. There are zero individual listings of it on ebay and Amazon as well!!!!

I'm assuming you have it under saved searches on ebay already?

It may be, but long have you been looking for it?

It’s 30 years old. You can’t expect it to just be in stock. There are lots of things that aren’t on eBay this week that are in fact super common.

I've had to wait 6 months to be able to buy certain titles. In the case of the Orguss TV box set a copy would come up probably once a month and then sell quickly so the hunt took a while. When I got lucky I got one in good condition with obi and all inserts for a good price (6000yen I think).

So not a super rare title but not readily available at all times either...I imagine there are a lot of titles like that.

It is not that rare & does pop up on ebay, might have to be a little patient though.

As mentioned above just keep a look out for it in the usual places & pretty sure you will bag one but don't pay silly money for it.

I myself have waited sometimes years for some of the LDs I have been looking for & have never overpaid for any.

Good luck with your hunt  .

It took me a year to find a non-broken US copy of Babe: Pig in the City and nobody ever describes it as hard to find.

When something is in fact rare and everyone knows about it and therefore you start to attract people who only care about rarity...when you’re at that level the stuff is almost always on eBay because it’s too “valuable” to not always be for sale, because it’s in the possession of a gouger or just someone who’s using eBay as a roundabout way of bragging about their collection...or someone who is both.

When it’s ten times as rare but nobody cares...then it’s much harder to find the stuff. Any LD not worth at least $30 is barely worth the time to eBay it so most people won’t.

That reminds me, I need to update my eBay alerts...

I bought a copy about 3 weeks ago of Deathstalker III. A very lucky find in my opinion. I am looking for Deathstalker IV now but I think that wasn't released on LD was it?
