Finally got to digitizing my Ford Laserdiscs to mixed results as the majority of them were rotted like crazy. I managed to get about 4 of them recorded, but even those tended to not play all the way through without hitting the jogwheel a few times to skip past the damage.

-1983 Ford Ranger
-1983 Car and Light Truck Technical Highlights
-1983 Ford Ranger (Español)
-1981 M.C.U System
-1981 Cylinder Head Service (Side 1)
-1981 Cylinder Head Service (Side 2)
-1982 Vehicle Emission Controls
-1988 1/2 Ford Escort
-1983 The Selling Process
-1984 Overhauling Diesel Engines
-1989 Probe
-1988 Electronic Fuel Injection (Side 1)
-1988 Electronic Fuel Injection (Side 2)
-1984 The People Factor
-1980 Prospecting For Sales Success
-1982 Manual 5-Speed Transaxle (Side 1)
-1982 Manual 5-Speed Transaxle (Side 2)
-1986 Driveability Diagnosis - Intermittent Faults
To not spam the site, I'll just comment the future ones on this thread.

Corrosion protection...I don’t know what’s funnier. The fact that Fords rust like 70s Fiats or that the LD is rotted. Double hilarious, IMO.

The ones I have recorded are, 1983 Ford Ranger (English and Spanish), 1983 Car and Light Truck Technical Highlights, Cylinder Head Service (two sided), and How to Test the 1981 M.C.U System.

The one with the terrible rot I showed off was for 1983 Thunderbird I believe. I still have 2-3 I haven't recorded, but I after running into so much rot I kinda got annoyed and gave up on recording for the night. I'll record the rest the best I can in the future, but right now I'm focusing on just uploading the ones I've recorded.

I think I might on one of the multi-feature discs that came in these grey folder things with organizer tabs. I'll have to check as I didn't get around to recording that one the other night.

Second Video Up 1983 Ford Ranger (Español)

Same as the first one, just in Spanish now. Figured I'd get both audio tracks, as this one had multiple options. I actually recorded it with both tracks playing at once by accident the first time around because I'm a dumbass.

1983 Ford Car and Light Truck Technical Highlights

Bad Audio Rot on this one, and the last few minutes were cut for rot. Still some funny moments, mainly the start of the video with the "Dunk your sales manager" thing.

Finally a Laserdisc without a ton of rot.

I present "How to Test the 1981 M.C.U System".

Last one of the batch I did last week, Cylinder Head Service.

8:29 - 8:55 had me laughing my a** off. Something about seeing all those "you got the right answer" things in a row is just funny to me.

She pops up all over the Ford Service discs. For fun, you should try to find a Sony LDP-2000 with a data-dump (Level II) board in it so you can watch them with the programming intact.

Believe me I'd love to, but my budget is a few subway tokens and a ham sandwich.

Do you have some of these discs as well? I own around 15 of them, but most are too rotted out to play.

Would a LD-V6000A or LD-V8000 work as well?

Alright here's side 2 of the Cylinder Head Service, this side is ROUGH, you can see it trying to commit suicide at the end.
