Got a copy of the Muppets Movie in the mail today, and apparently it's from the Estate of Frank Sinatra Jr.



Thought it was interesting, good little note to keep in the sleeve I suppose.

What is the deal with Jr? If its not directly Frank Sinstra then I don't think his son would have that much of an impact. but kinda cool nothenless.

That certainly is an interesting wee item to find within your purchase.

Did you know at the time of ordering where it was coming from or only when you opened the package?

A while back there were some LDs that were from Pixar’s reference library, mainly a Ghibli ga Ippai broken up. They all had a Pixar library stamp on them and I was sorta surprised nobody gave a crap. John Lassater was pretty much the reason Disney eventually distributed Ghibli movies in the US so it’s of some historical significance.

As for the historical significance of Frank Jr, I haven’t the slightest. He had to have been a cooler person than his mob worshiping dad though.

Nope I had no clue, there's zero mention on the eBay listings what so ever.

Unfortunately the disc has a fairly large crack in it due to shipping, but still pretty neat.

As far as Frank Jr's career, apparently he had half a dozen albums and a good deal of acting credits apparently (according to imbd).

I found a thing about him being a band conductor which he’s supposedly quite good at.
