Celebrated the return of my beloved 925 this evening by watching one of my favourite Laserdiscs.

The 1992 Hanshin Tigers NPB season story and highlights.

The disc comes complete with a results sheet from their 1992 fixtures.

Baseball is awesome (I'm a Mets fan since the early 80's and I have a soft spot for the A's and Dodgers too. Even though the Dodgers are from Brooklyn originally!!!). I love NPB too. Who doesn't when the NPB produces talent like Ichiro Suzuki and Shohei Ohtani?

I'm not a Hanshin Tigers fan, apart from what their fans done to a statue of Colonel Sanders.

Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters fan here. Purely on the basis that Hokkaido is one of my favourite parts of Japan, especially in Winter.

Adding an NPB disc to my collection was hard. They don't seem to come up for sale, unless I am looking in the wrong places?

This is a great disc. Very high quality picture, I genuinely believe it is on par with a DVD. Really well mastered.

This disc is interesting as well for MLB fans as it features Tom O'Malley heavily. This is a guy that Hanshin Tigers signed from the San Francisco Giants in 1991. He went on to play for the Yakult Swallows in 1995 too.

It is fun too to see Jim Paciorek in this too. The guy who's season started so well and just ended up a bit of a damp squib.

I can't understand the Nihongo on the Laserdisc, but baseball is a universal language of pure awesome so the images do all the translation very well!

Awesome. I added one myself as well as provided basically all the info for another. I always check the database when I get an LD off ebay, yaj etc to make sure it is listed. Really cool to still be adding stuff in 2020.

If I pick up any LDs that are not in the database I always add them & include the cover & any other relevant pictures when I can.

I really feel that it is the least we as LDDB users can do, so many people have commented on threads that they have discs not listed here, often asking questions about them but never adding them, a little selfish perhaps?

I have added quite a few of the motorsport/F-1 LDs plus a few others & not sure if anyone ever looks at them but they are there, even if they are never looked at it surely helps with the total number of titles produced & the like.

This is a live action Darius film directed by Zuntata, titled Darius Gaiden.
