Minako Honda: Dangerous Bond Street [L090-1065]

Rounding out my Minako Honda LD collection, now complete, including the One Way Generation CDV.

This collection of songs is entertaining. Minako starts off in London, dodging punks and construction sites on her own double decker bus, then she finds her legendary cross in an antique shop. Suddenly she's pursued by Indians and Chinese and ends up evading them in Bombay and Hong Kong. Great stuff!

Thats a title im keeping a eye on,
Really would like to know if it has any Picture Quality improvement compared to [0411885]

I never had the regular release so I don't know.
But the picture quality is great even when scaled at it's full aspect ratio on a 34 inch ultra wide display.

Haven't bought anything recently but outside of the karaoke discs I finally updated my collection page on the site. Most non-anime discs would be available for trade (preferred) or sale. There are a few things I do want to keep for sure. In terms of anime Robotech all 9 volumes is available. Any old American cartoons are definitely available and I have quite a few.

I lost an auction for Twin Peaks: A Visual Soundtrack but that enabled me to pick up Ewok Adventure, The (1984) [SF078-1184] instead. Which honestly sounds like a really sh!tty consolation prize. "I didn't win in a lottery but fortunately I got punched in the d!ck!"

I assume it was the one that went for $91 yesterday? I had an eye on that one as well haha, I also picked up that same ewok Laserdisc a couple months back for $20 on eBay, good deal honestly.

A Star Wars fan can do worse, IMHO.

It went for $91 but it wasn't yesterday.

I wonder if that one moron guy asking 500 dollars for a copy without the obi had anything to do with it.

Well I enjoyed it a lot more than anything Disney's put out recently, that's for sure.

I just wish the sleeve was in a better shape.

Silent Mobius: The Motion Picture (1991) [PILA-1087]

Wasn't particularly looking to get it, but I snagged it off eBay for $4.24 before shipping. Got subs for it ready to go.

Space Battleship Yamato: TV Part 1 Perfect Collection (1974) [BELL-316]
Yamato: The New Voyage (1978) [128C59-6083~4]
Space Battleship Yamato: The New Voyages [128C59-6014]
Be Forever Yamato (1980) [128C59-6087~8]
Saraba Yamato (1985) [128C59-6085~6]

Got these off YAJ, the 4 individual releases were in the same auction. Trying to figure out the difference between the New Voyage releases. One supposedly has a much longer run time, maybe just extras? The 95 minute run time for the movie is what is listed everywhere online.

In any case I should just need Final Yamato now, short of getting the other series. It would have been nice to get the later releases but for 1000 yen for all 4, I'm not complaining.

I have just found a dts copy of Mortal Kombat Annihilation in a local record store. I only paid 3 Euro for it. I know it is not the best
film of all times but any dts title is a welcome addition to one's collection.
