FACTORY RECORDS (Wikipedia)

Influential UK label from the 80's till mid-90's with a habit of giving catalog numbers to many, many things!

https://www.lddb.com/search.php?adv_search=*&adv_reference=&collection=68

Right now only 10 but I might have missed a few:

PVLM-6       Happy Mondays: Madchester Rave On
FACDV 73R    New Order: Blue Monday (1988)
78C58-6098   New Order: Pumped Full of Drugs (1985)
TELP-42036   New Order: Substance
POLD-1011    New Order: The Best of: They're afraid of what they see... (1994)
LVD 9510     New Order: The New Order Story
POLD-1007~8  New Order: The New Order Story (1993)
FACDV 183    New Order: True Faith (1987)
COLY-3005    The Durutti Column: Domo Arigato - Live in Japan (1985)
FACDV 194    The Durutti Column: When The World (1987)

Some nice covers pics over here: Some Madchester music scene laserdiscs

I’m a massive fan of this label, my favorite ever. I don’t see the point in collecting literally every thing on it. That’s so...Sega Genesis fan. I just buy the stuff I actually like.

Buying every Factory release will get get you all of Joy Division (sans first release) and all of 80s New Order. It won’t however get you a complete collection.

You absolutely need: https://www.discogs.com/Mike-Garry-Joe- ... se/7351054 This is a cover of Your Silent Face with a poem about Wilson read over it. I cry every time I hear it but it a good way. There is a video version: https://youtu.be/3cYNI8s_vo4

Also: https://www.discogs.com/New-Order-Video ... ease/84495 this is the live version which played over live computer graphics from an Apple II back in the day. It wasn’t released until Factory was long gone. It’s a total train song, just driving and driving forever and super Hooky.

https://www.discogs.com/Various-Salvati ... ase/960645 (or some version of it). Half of the OST to this terrible movie is even worse than the movie, the other half is Arthur Baker produced New Order at (what I consider) to be their creative peak. Let’s Go was later reworked and released with lyrics on a Greatest Hits Collection for London records when they moved there but it’s not the same.
