It's a Sonopress CAV disc, so it has drops in the picture, I would rate mine 3/10 on drops. Picture sharpness is quite good, audio is also good for a 1983 disc, it not affected by the drops. Both sides are watchable. I would pay very little for it so you won't be disappointed, as my disc is ok, another one might be trouble. If you really like Thompson Twins, why not go for Thompson Twins: Sidekicks the Movie (1983) [G78M0012] or the 2 other Japanese discs?

My.Tina Turner Nice and Rough disc is PAL analogue. Picture has the dropout specks on it at times but nothing too serious. The audio is ace though!

Many thanks to both of you for your replies, especially Edwin for the disc info. The seller wants £23 with free postage for the PAL version - Perhaps still a little on the high side? but the JP alternatives are priced much much higher before adding the shipping costs to Europe so on the strength of Edwin's opinion of his Sonopress version I may take the risk on that one if he'll accept an offer of around £20. Oh and Ted.....if you want to seriously rock the house with Tina Turner have you not spun your Live in Amsterdam DTS LD yet! The bass on that one is totally outrageous....it was also shot in an IDTV format with chroma noise that is visibly non existent on my set up! Thanks again both Edit: just seen your post Giannis, thanks for your advice I will now have to consider this also!

Presently writing this post in the back of an ambulance after suffering a full bowel prolapse. Consider my Easter bonnet well and truly tipped in your general direction Sir! What a great disc!

Greetings from my A&E bed! Yes, my poor little Yamaha soundbar took a bit of a hiding yesterday. That DTS Tina Turner disc has some wellie to it doesn't it? On the flip side I do think the old Nice N' Rough analogue disc has some superb audio too so if you want to see one of Tina's earlier concerts it is definitely a good one to pick up. Check the condition though if you can as it might be starting to rot. Mine is certainly getting image dropouts but the audio is intact thankfully. Must get it captured soon.

That was the first ever DTS LD that I purchased back in the 90s, never forgot the first time experience and it was from that very memory that I advised you! tbh I haven't spun it for years so maybe now is a good time to fire it up again....can you dial me an ambulance before I do just in case!
