it would seem that my copy DID include the poster, after all!!!

That is one hell of a book. It really shows just how excited these kids were to draw and draw and draw and draw. If you only have the smaller books you’ll still see lots of stuff unique to this book. For sure this is a AAA+ book for Macross fans or just fans or anime. I’m glad you finally got it.

this is indeed a great book, and it is plain to see how it was used as a model for "ROBOTECH ART 1" and the far more recent "ROBOTECH VISUAL ARCHIVE; THE MACROSS SAGA"

well, if you must plagiarize, you'd might as well plagiarize the very best, i suppose...

Jeff kindly hand-delivered some tax and duty free goods to Ireland, the new Delaware of Europe!

These arrived this morning. Jeff has decided to deploy his own courier fleet now. Armies of white vans are swarming across the new Delaware of Europe delivering sub-€22 tax free goods to his slathering army of capitalist slaves while he and Elon Musk grapple, bare-chested and wielding fireswords atop Carrauntoohill mountain to decide who has the most money!

A bountiful trio arrived today. A bit of Selleck goodness. Thinking of a double bill over the weekend. Runaway and Mr. Baseball perhaps?

Universal Monsters collection is such a bargain (especially at Jeff's super low tax-free prices!). Wanted to pick this one up for ages for some double or triple bill action some time. Never seen any of the classics so long overdue.

Kinda boring but I needed a 2021 diary/planner. Usually get mine in December. Collins make a nice day to day 'per page' diary/planner. The paper is alright for general meeting scribbling and heavy enough to cope with rollerball or gel bleed. For anything else I'd use a Leuchtturm1917 whitelines link. You can use an app to transfer your pages to digital with it. Handy stuff.

As in a couple quid? Just making sure I understand the formatting correctly. I've wanted one of those just to mess with but didn't want to pay more than about $25 before shipping given what it is.

Indeed. The price of two cans of soda. I was shocked myself because I have witnessed these scalers going much higher before.

It appears that here in New Delaware, aka Ireland, our Jeff has decided to deliver tat to clutter your home with even on God's chosen day of rest. I was greeted by a weary young buck late this afternoon as I returned from a rather late (and very dark) 10km run.

The sheer abundance of lumens exiting my Coleman CXS+ 300R head torch shattered his retina's with the precision of a small toffee hammer attached to a Roman candle.

As he staggered back to his Peugeot Bipper he handed me a duty free copy of The New Centurions on Blu Ray.

Great lad. Good work Jeff. I bet you won't deliver stuff to my gaf on Good Friday though!

Glad to provide verbal diarrhea of service Sir.

It's true about the head torch by the way. It's so bright it has about a 50 metre throw on it. It's more for mountaineering, ultra running etc but really good for running the back.roads at night. Once I had it on heading down a dark country lane, snow, ice, the works. Looked up at a sole streetlamp on the road and it turned off because the sensor thought it was the middle of the day.

Then the battery on my head torch died because I forgot to charge it and the streetlight wouldn't come back on. I was about 4 or 5 miles from home too.

Great fun...

I think the Gold Book is better. I can’t remember. My friend has one and I finally got a chance to check out the entire thing about 10 years ago and I remember concluding that it was better than Perfect Memory but now I can’t remember why...

More duty free tat from Jeff arrived in New Delaware today.

3 limited editions and 1 piece of crap from Manga UK I forgot I ordered before Christmas. I say crap because Manga UK / Failimation made an absolute HORLICKS of Wicked City on Blu Ray. Think I ordered it at the same time as Cyber City Oedo (which better not be ruined too).

Jeff won't let me buy The Guns Of Navarone, so I bought the sequel instead. Yeah but whaddayagonnado...

Some tat from Spain today. Ordered the same time as Don't Open Until Christmas but it arrived later.

The Lad Who Went Up D Ting Wit D Yoke And Back Down Again And Stuff is suprisingly unavailable on Blu Ray anywhere except in Spain apparently

So here's a copy from Spain of The Lad Who Went Up D Ting Wit D Yoke And Back Down Again And Stuff.

Yer man out of that film whatchacallit is in it. Roy Grant. The lad who got caught unloading trouser custard in close proximity to an adult services provider a few years back.

Great film. Will watch it again soon now I've the Blu Ray.

Just in case it helps anyone, there is a Japan release of The Lad Who Thing And I'm too tired to write the rest of the film title.

Jeff has it. It's quite expensive but looks similar spec to the Spainish release.

Tried the Spain disc last night. Strictly a vanilla disc but looks great. An English print of the film so no title alterations or burned in subtitles. I noticed something though on the picture. At the very top is a very thin margin of extra footage. Hard to describe as it's not really obvious, like an open matte for example. Does anyone have the Laserdisc to compare?

Brilliant film by the way, and very funny. Watch it if you can.
