Looking to track down 魔法少女 メグメル (Magical Girl Megmel?). Does anyone know if it was ever available on Laserdisc or VHS? All I can find is stuff about Pretty Sammy which is not even the right thing. Help!

The first pic you show is actually the cover of the VHS. NT-01 is the catalog number.

Odd when you do a google search 魔法少女 メグメル you see the VHS cover art.
But nothing on YJ.

It you want a small taste of this kind of thing Toho has a few LDs of compilations of magical girl tokusatsu shows. I’m not sure if any of them hit LD in their entirety. Though.

I can’t remember which show was the inspiration for Polyleena from Galaxy Frauline Yuna but I’m pretty sure she’s on that disc. It’s really entertaining in general. Sometimes it’s not clips of a girl show but more like “that one episode of Kamen rider with the biker chicks” and that kind of thing.

Also Toho has recently uploaded TONs of shows to YT in their entirety lately, sometimes even subtitles and viewable outside of Japan.
