I've browsed this forum some over the past few months, but I just wanted to come out and say hi to everyone! I've had a LaserDisc karaoke player for a few years now (with a Careless Whisper disc inside). I've been starting to slowly accumulate discs over time, particularly some from Japan.

Now, I've gone all out and gotten a Sony HIL-C1 MUSE player, with the original remote and manual. It's currently broken, though I am looking forward to going on the journey to fix it.

But yeah, just wanted to say hello to everyone!

Hello!

You should be able to find some great help here with that Sony machine. I think a couple of folks here either have one or could offer some sound knowledge to hopefully get your Sony up and running. Best of luck!

Here's some threads to get you going:

[HIL-C1] Muse player repair?

Does anyone own a Sony HIL-C2EX or HIL-C1?

Work in Progress / Look Inside Sony HIL-C1

MUSE Hi-Vision resources - the website I never built.
